Festival Spotlight

6th December, 2011

Interview conducted by Brittany Stanley of VideoArt.Net

Videoart.net: Hi Sarah, so thanks for being with us – we are so glad to have you in this year’s festival!
Sarah Scaduto: Thank you, I’m so excited to be a part of it!
VA.N: where are you located right now?
SS: Georgia
VA.N: Cool. So I know that you before you submitted your work to be considered for the festival, it was actually featured on our website as an “editor’s pick”. How long have you been apart of the Videoart.net community, and what made you decide to submit to this year’s festival?
SS: Oh wow, excellent, I must have missed that! I joined Videoart.net back when I was taking a video class, so actually just a little over a year ago. I thought it would be a good opportunity to start putting my work out there and see what others are doing. I decided to submit to this year’s festival I suppose for the same reason, just to start taking steps in establishing myself as an artist. I recently just graduated.
VA.N: Nice! Have you been able to discover other works that you find interesting through our curated archive?
